Pay Rate $23 per hour! Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Corrections. We have partnered with Exos as our subcontractor for Dental Assistant services.

We are currently seeking a PRN Dental Assistant for an opportunity at Reception Diagnostic Correctional Facility located in Plainfield, Indiana.

The Dental Assistant (Indiana) works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting.

Essential Duties:
• Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments
• Preparing and maintaining the dental operatory
• Operating radiographic equipment
• Administrative tasks as needed

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or minimum six (6) months of experience as a Dental Assistant required
• Certification in Dental Radiology required
• Certification as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant preferred
• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
