Position Overview

Little Quakers Academy is seeking a patient, energetic Preschool Instructional Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will partner with the Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children can learn, play, and grow.

Key Responsibilities

* Classroom Support:
Help implement daily lessons, lead small-group activities, and set up learning centers.

* Daily Care & Routines:
Assist children with transitions, meal/snack times, recess, and bath rooming/handwashing.

* Behavior Management:
Promote positive behavior, social skills, and peer conflict resolution.

* Prep Work:
Prepare crafts, learning materials, and maintain a clean, organized classroom.

Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent (Coursework in Early Childhood Education is a plus).

* Previous experience working with young children (preschool, daycare, or camp setting preferred).

* Ability to pass required background checks/fingerprinting.
