Are you passionate about developing people, improving performance, and creating impactful learning experiences? We are seeking a Training Program Specialist to design, deliver, manage, and continuously improve training programs that support operational excellence across our warehouse and distribution operations.

In this highly visible role, you will serve as a key partner to operations leadership by ensuring employees receive the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to perform at their best. You will lead training initiatives, standardize training processes, mentor trainers, and help build a culture of continuous learning and development. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys facilitating training, developing learning programs, and driving consistency across operational teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, manage, and continuously improve operational training programs that support business goals, productivity, quality, safety, and employee development.
  • Design and maintain standardized training processes, materials, work instructions, and learning documentation to ensure consistent delivery across operations.
  • Conduct training needs assessments and partner with operational leaders to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
  • Maintain and manage training records, certifications, attendance tracking, and compliance documentation.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, observations, feedback, and performance metrics, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Coach employees and provide skills assessments to support performance development and operational readiness.
  • Mentor and support trainers by providing guidance, coaching, best practices, and development opportunities.
  • Utilize a variety of learning methods, including instructor‑led training, self‑paced learning, simulations, job aids, and hands‑on exercises.
  • Collaborate with operations leadership to ensure training programs align with operational processes, standards, and business objectives.
  • Monitor program performance and recommend improvements to increase employee engagement, knowledge retention, and overall effectiveness.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for training processes, standards, and learning best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required; post‑secondary education, training certifications, or related coursework preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in training, learning and development, employee development, operations training, or a related field.
  • Proven experience developing, implementing, facilitating, and managing training programs from concept through delivery, including instructor‑led, virtual, and hands‑on learning environments.
  • Experience creating and maintaining training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), job aids, and standardized training processes that drive consistency and operational excellence.
  • Ability to assess training effectiveness through performance metrics, observations, feedback, and skills assessments, and continuous improvements to learning programs.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and other learning technologies; experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or training tracking systems is a plus.
  • Experience supporting warehouse, distribution center, logistics, manufacturing, supply chain, or other operational environments is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while building strong partnerships across operations, leadership teams, and frontline employees.
Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on employee development and operational success. You'll help shape how employees learn, grow, and perform while building scalable training programs that support a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. As a trusted training partner, you'll play a key role in developing talent and driving operational performance across the organization.
