WorkShift/Schedule
Wed-Sat 6:30pm-5:00am (4 ten-hour shifts/week) or Thurs-Sun 6:30pm-5:00am (4 ten-hour shifts/week)
Key job responsibilitiesCore Responsibilities:

- Maintain comprehensive customer profiles including current and past medical history, clinical and laboratory data, and concurrent medications (including over-the-counter and home remedies)
- Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and route of administration. Make recommendations for therapy changes to the prescriber as appropriate
- Operate and troubleshoot Pharmacy Automation Systems
- Utilize, monitor, and troubleshoot automated dispensing and fulfillment systems to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely preparation of prescription orders
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and engineering teams to resolve automation issues, optimize workflows, and maintain compliance with quality and safety standards
- Dispense controlled substances and maintain regulatory compliance
- Accurately dispense controlled substances in accordance with DEA regulations and state-specific laws
- Maintain thorough, timely, and auditable records of all controlled substance transactions, including inventory management, reconciliation, and reporting requirements
- Provide clinical support: answer clinical questions and provide guidance; collaborate with healthcare team members; document all healthcare team communications; investigate and resolve medication errors
- Additional responsibilities: implement policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal laws; maintain required regulatory documentation; participate in continuous improvement initiatives; support pharmacy operations across departments as needed
- Physical requirements may include the ability to perform warehouse work and lift at least 20 pounds
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.
D. degree - Active and unrestricted Pharmacy License in state of employment (additional licenses may be required)
- Proficiency with basic computer functions and pharmacy systems
- Exemplary interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Understanding of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations
- Ability to manage high call volume while maintaining quality customer service

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
