Maintain and track medication inventory by sorting, placing, and storing freight in appropriate locations; restocking and replenishing medication; reporting low stock levels; ensuring stock rotation FIFO; assist in shrinkage control;
Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with physical counts for inventories;
Create and maintain documentation for files, forms, records, supplies, and communications; prepare reports of pharmacy activities and inventory;
Promote and maintain the pharmacy's professional reputation; deliver pharmacy products and services to patients under pharmacy policies and regulations; assist the pharmacist in the prescription fulfillment process;
Use the scanner to identify and select pharmaceutical product and quantity; verify size/strength; enter expiration dates and lot numbers; label prescriptions; weigh, count, or pour medications for prescription orders.
