Position Summary

Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and in writing, including customers, suppliers, and associates.

What You’ll Do
  • Implement the business plan for your area of responsibility, communicating goals and managing staffing, scheduling, and workload coordination.
  • Ensure associates complete required training to achieve facility goals.
  • Manage daily administrative functions of the HR office: benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, payroll, recruiting and staffing initiatives, and addressing employment‑related concerns.
  • Review and maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and maintenance of HR documents, ensuring compliance with company HR policies.
  • Implement and support HR systems, applications, and research data to resolve HR issues.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring training on logistics, company policies, procedures, and compliance.
  • Identify customer or supplier concerns, consult, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Supervise and develop associates and leaders, assign duties, coordinate workloads, monitor performance, provide feedback, and coach.
  • Manage and coordinate training: new‑hire orientation, CBL modules, web‑based training, virtual classroom, and training curriculum completion.
  • Coordinate job‑related activities and assignments, develop relationships with stakeholders, communicate goals, and promote continuous learning.
  • Provide supervision, recognition, and a culture of belonging, encouraging diversity and inclusion.
  • Maintain company policies, procedures, ethics, and support open‑door policy and compliance.
  • Build high‑performing teams, embrace differences, and foster an inclusive workplace.
  • Act with integrity and support Walmart’s regenerative mission.
  • Serve customers by delivering results, applying business models, and making data‑based decisions.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field AND 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.
  • 2 years in Walmart Logistics management experience.
  • 2 years supervisory experience, including 1 year managing human‑resource processes.
  • 1 year Walmart Stores, Inc. Human Resources experience.
  • Completion of all required job training and assessments (e.g., Academy, Open Door).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Human Resources expertise.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Experience supervising associates.
  • Training and facilitation skills.
  • Walmart Logistics Systems knowledge.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Logistics.
  • Professional HR (PHR) or Senior Professional HR (SPHR) certification.
