About the Role

The Senior Systems Administrator provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure. Responsible for managing IT infrastructure and related processes, supporting day‑to‑day operations, diagnosing and resolving problems, installing and configuring operating system software, and maintaining network components.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct activities in support of Life Net Health infrastructure including servers, network devices, operating systems, directory services, virtualization, telecom and collaboration systems, permissions, and file services; administer printers.
  • Monitor and maintain system alerts and notifications; work with system owners on alert notifications and processes.
  • Manage Microsoft Endpoint Manager environment, including software deployment, patching, and Windows updates.
  • Act as an escalation point for incident response, service requests, audits, investigations, and emergency server patch deployments.
  • Administer backups and Disaster Recovery solutions; monitor storage capacity and restore data as needed.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience with functional and technical aspects of IT support services (user account administration, servers, networking, operating systems, and applications).
  • Three (3) years of administration experience with at least three of the following: servers, system patching, Active Directory, Office 365, networking, security, or telecom.
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) and/or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) to be obtained within the first year.
Preferred Experience / Skills / Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Security+ Certification.

  • Proficient in administrating Email Systems, Virtual Environments, Printers, third‑party software deployment, patch management, security, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Backup & recovery knowledge: shadow copies, backup software, and basic theories.
  • Equipment/technology: skillful use of hardware, software, and tools.
  • Diagnostic & management utilities: use of Active Directory, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, etc.

Compensation

Salary Range: $87,226 – $116,301 annually.

Final compensation will be based on geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience.
