Support Hiab’s service districts across the US with stocking proposals to achieve stock availability targets, coordinate returns to keep inventory current, and drive improvement initiatives within the Services Supply Chain in cooperation with the Regional Distribution Center team in Plainfield, IN.
Key Responsibilities- Track and analyze transportation KPIs, lead carrier M /Q , support improvements with global carriers and the Global Transport team, review carrier invoices and manage transportation claims
- Analyze warehouse KPIs and work with warehouse 3PL to improve performance and quality, validate 3PL invoices, assess inventory deviations & claims, and manage accountability
- Direct support of services teams via stocking proposals based on expected parts usage, maintain systems for systematic replenishment and conduct regular reviews to ensure correct return of excess inventory to the central warehouse
- Collaborate with transportation colleagues in Europe and liaise with the warehouse 3PL to initiate & execute continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate information flow between warehouse, carriers and functions such as Sales Support, Global Transport, and Supply Chain teams
- Relevant degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or other relevant fields
- Relevant global industrial experience (truck, construction machines, mining, agriculture or automotive)
- Experience in inventory management and material planning
- Experience with improvement methods such as Lean/Six Sigma
- Basic trade and compliance knowledge for import and export shipments
- Skilled Excel user, preferably with SAP, TMS and other analytical tools
- General project management and presentation skills with root‑cause analysis
