* Job Purpose:

** Our Operations Manager will be responsible for supervising a team of employees who use machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, inventory control and other steps along a production line.
*
* Job Responsibilities:

*
* ● Plan and coordinate work activities of warehouse functions (directly and through supervisors), including receiving, picking, shipping, delivery, security and inventory control.  
● Develop and implement specific objectives and performance measures for each functional area and individual to improve performance.  
● Interpret, understand, and act on individual and collective performance and quality data.  
● Lead selection and hiring of new warehouse and delivery employees and supervisors; evaluate employee performance and develop and implement action plans for improving employees’ performance.  
● Ensure that all warehouse and delivery employees receive proper training and skills development.  
● Maintain and control the physical condition of the warehouse and delivery equipment, supplies, security, facilities, grounds, etc.  
● Manage and control warehouse and delivery expenses and capital.  
● Maintain a culture of safety that follows the organization's Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) policies to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to oneself and others in the workplace.  
● Instruct the team in safe working methods and escalate serious issues as appropriate.

* ● 10-15 years of related job experience.### ###
● 5-10 years of related job experience.### ###
● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.### ###
● A thorough understanding of distribution management (customer service, sales, purchasing, warehouse, credit, information systems, and logistics) that is preferably from a large, national, or decentralized organization.### ###
● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.### ###
● Must possess a thorough understanding of the distribution business.### ###
