Project Manager I / Project Manager II

Pay Rate: $60–$64/hour

Contract Duration:
June 2026 – June 25, 2029

Job Summary

The Project Manager I / II role has single-point accountability (or operates under the general direction of a Project Director or Senior PM) for managing all phases of project planning and execution. This position ensures project success across scope, schedule, cost, quality, environmental, safety, communications, security, and integration.

The PM supports multiple "White" or "Green I" projects of low to moderate complexity, typically impacting facility or department-level operations. Acting as a unifying leader, the PM provides direction, coordination, and control in alignment with company standards, policies, and project management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Team Leadership:
  • Build, staff, and lead cross-functional project teams. Provide daily oversight, coordination, and direction to internal and external stakeholders including engineering, construction, supply chain, legal, EHS, QA/QC, operations, and regulatory teams.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Establish and maintain clear communication across all stakeholders. Lead project meetings (kickoffs, weekly updates, monthly reviews) and ensure accurate project reporting aligned with PMCoE standards. Present project updates to leadership and governance teams.
  • Project Planning:
  • Plan and support all aspects of assigned projects, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, safety, and quality requirements. Drive development of project plans covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational turnover. Execute projects within defined scope, cost, and schedule constraints. Oversee all project components including WBS, risk management, procurement strategy, contractor coordination, reporting, quality assurance, and project close-out activities.
Minimum Qualifications – Project Manager I
  • Project Execution:
  • Associate's degree AND minimum 2 years of related experience
  • OR
  • High School Diploma / GED AND minimum 5 years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Configuration Management II Professional (CM2-P)
Additional Details
  • Experience managing multiple low-to-moderate complexity projects preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills required
  • Ability to work across matrixed teams and resolve conflicts effectively
