The Case Prep/Wash/Inspector is responsible for preparing, cleaning, and inspecting heavy‑duty truck parts to ensure they meet quality standards before assembly or shipment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Summary of Essential Job Functions- Preparation:
Prepare parts for cleaning and inspection by removing any packaging, labels, or debris. - Washing:
Clean parts using pressure washers, solvents, and other cleaning equipment to remove dirt, grease, and other contaminants. - Inspection:
Conduct thorough inspections of parts to identify any defects, wear, or damage. Use measuring tools and visual inspection techniques to ensure parts meet quality standards. - Documentation:
Record inspection results and maintain accurate records of cleaned and inspected parts. - Quality Control:
Report any defects or issues to the quality control team and assist in implementing corrective actions. - Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. - Tool Maintenance:
Maintain cleaning and inspection tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in the heavy‑duty truck parts industry.
- Knowledge of cleaning and inspection techniques and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy parts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Standing and Walking:
