The Plant Parts Room Associate will maintain stock of MRO spare parts and consumables, managing purchasing, inventory accuracy, and usage to ensure line uptime.
Essential Functions- Purchasing
- Restock consumables, critical spare parts, and parts inventory.
- Provide PO delivery status updates for outstanding orders.
- Correct and manage AP MRO outstanding issues.
- Receive all UPS/Fed Ex/etc. deliveries.
- Manage inter‑organizational shipping and receiving.
- Inventory Management
- Manage physical spare parts inventory and storage locations.
- Maintain and receive all spare parts inventory in Oracle EBS and Power Pick Global systems.
- Perform weekly/quarterly MRO cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Organize parts room area per 5S Process (Sustain, Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize).
- Warranty Claims
- Track, maintain, and file warranty claims with respective vendors.
- Maintenance Planning
- Generate and complete PM Work Order Scripts and manage backlog.
- Facilitate maintenance planning meetings.
- Assist technicians during downtime events.
- Provide database support on‑site as a subject matter expert.
- Assist with annual machine rebuilds.
- Create PM plans for line downtime, optimizing mechanic labor availability.
- Ensure completion of PMs at scheduled intervals.
- Coordinate with Maintenance and Production to execute repair work orders.
- Evaluate PM effectiveness to ensure planned time and tasks are appropriate.
- Confirm material and labor costs are captured on work orders.
- Maintain relationships with outside vendors.
- Purchase items/parts and source to suppliers/vendors.
- Attend monthly parts room calls.
- Track and complete work orders for preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Update job knowledge through educational opportunities.
- Attendance and Safety
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance (essential function).
- Maintain a safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- 2‑Year experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
- 2‑Year experience in a similar field (customer service/inventory experience is a plus).
- 0‑Year experience managing people/projects (experience may include a combination of work experience and education).
- Proficiency in Inventory Management Systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar.
- Proficiency in CMMS/ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- 4‑Year experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
- 4‑Year experience in a similar position.
- 2‑Year experience managing people/projects.
- Experience with Oracle EBS Purchasing and Inventory.
- Lead Like an Owner.

- Minimum required:
High School Diploma. - Preferred:
Associate Degree or equivalent certification.
