Pay: $20 - $25/hr (based on experience)
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Chemical Blender to join our manufacturing team in Plainfield, IN. In this advanced-level role, you will perform complex blending and mixing operations, support bottling line needs, and ensure all production activities meet safety, quality, and performance standards. You will also play a key leadership role—mentoring junior operators, optimizing processes, and partnering closely with Production, QA, and Supervisors.

Primary ObjectivesLead complex or high‑risk blending and mixing operations involving multi‑step or precision processes.
Optimize batch performance and troubleshoot deviations or inconsistencies.
Support new product scale‑ups and assist with process validation activities.
Mentor Operators I & II; provide training support and conduct procedural audits.
Recommend process improvements, workflow enhancements, and equipment upgrades.
Keep bottling lines supplied with accurate, on‑time batches.
Meet daily production goals with high accuracy and zero errors.
Ensure compliance with all written procedures, SOPs, and safety protocols.
Coordinate and prioritize work with the Supervisor or Team Lead.
Foster a strong culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Report out‑of‑spec batches and work with QA to resolve issues.
Maintain excellent housekeeping and adhere to 5S standards.
Follow all mixing instructions precisely—no unauthorized changes to procedures.
Ensure tanks, pumps, tools, and equipment are properly cleaned to minimize contamination.
Recognize bottlenecks in real time and proactively shift resources to maintain workflow.
Execute 5S standards and help maintain an organized, safe work environment.
Promote and follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and general Manufacturing policies.
Experience in chemical batch mixing experience is preferred, but not required.
Proficient with chemical batching equipment, tools, and processes.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Strong attention to detail and clear written/verbal communication skills.
Team‑oriented with strong collaboration and problem‑solving skills.
Flexible and able to adapt to changes in direction or priority.
Knowledge of proper bonding/grounding procedures to avoid static discharge.
Understanding of safe handling practices for hazardous materials (Haz Mat).
