Material Handler
The position is responsible for storing, maintaining, moving, and delivering materials as directed following prescribed practices or instructions. Utilize ERP system to record inventory and analyze inventory accuracy of assembly operations as needed in various material-related roles.
Summary of Essential Job Functions- Replenish production areas with units to be processed.
- Physically verify multiple parts and quantities.
- Verify all new, remanufactured, and internal parts with identified parts numbers in reference to a bill of materials.
- Operate a forklift/ picker daily*
- Sort pallets, plywood, and other necessary dunnage.
- Complete move sheets to accurately track processed components.
- Assist with shipping and receiving goods.
- Pick parts to kit carts of components for the assembly line.
- Dump scrap hoppers as necessary*
- Comply with 5S requirements; maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment and work area.
- Cross-train and assist in all areas as needed.
- Must meet annual training requirements.
- High school diploma/ GED
- 2 years in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to operate a scissor lift, dock stocker, reach truck, and other material handling equipment – forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to identify and verify all part numbers and good with inventory control.
- Highly organized and attentive to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask.
- Comfortable with computer use
- Prior experience with ERP systems is preferred.

- Lifting and Carrying:
Regularly lifting and carrying items that weigh 60 pounds or more. This can involve moving materials around a warehouse or production area. - Standing and Walking:
Spending long periods standing and walking, often on hard surfaces. - Bending and Stooping:
Frequently bending, stooping, and crouching to pick up or move items. - Pushing and Pulling:
Using force to push or pull heavy objects, which may involve the use of equipment like pallet jacks or hand trucks. - Repetitive Movements:
Performing repetitive tasks, such as lifting, packing, or sorting materials. - Operating Equipment:
Handling material handling equipment, such as forklifts, which requires physical dexterity and strength.
