AboutThe Role
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Car Don and Associates you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with nursing staff to monitor patient health and report any changes in condition. This position requires compassion, patience, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents.
Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes the dignity and independence of each resident in our care.
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Help residents with mobility and physical activities, including transferring and positioning.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive atmosphere.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and family members regarding resident needs and changes.
- Successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program or acceptable verification of this from State Nurse Assistant Registry.
- There is no finding in the Registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.
