As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Allied Universal officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness and customer interactions.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Day Time Sat  07:00 AM - 07:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following store and property policies, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, stockroom areas, parking areas, and perimeter spaces.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity, policy violations, and suspicious behavior by maintaining a visible presence and documenting security-related concerns.
• Monitor customer and employee traffic, support access control practices, and assist with closing procedures and/or after-hours patrol activity as directed by site requirements.

• Six or more months of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
