Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location;
Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, manage visitor and delivery access, and document security-related activity according to post orders;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or local responders as needed;
Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location;
Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or policy violations by observing site activity, reporting unusual conditions, and supporting established security-related procedures
