You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to staff, visitors, and patients. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare and life-sciences location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including the business perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and restricted locations, while reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain orderly entry and exit throughout the facility.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Prepare accurate reports and complete required documentation related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and security-related observations.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
