Field Technician

We are seeking a safety‑oriented, self‑starting Field Technician to join our client’s team in rebuilding and maintaining our natural environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating a mower, and performing essential land upkeep to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.

• Site Maintenance:
  Prepare and maintain job sites, including loading materials and installing sediment control devices such as silt fences.
• Land Restoration:
  Assist with rough and fine grading for seed bed preparation and installation of native trees, shrubs, and seeds.
• General Upkeep:
  Install mulch, stone, and compost to maintain site aesthetics and health.

7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

• Education:
  
  High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  1–4 years in field or related work.
• Equipment Proficiency:
  Prior experience with industrial mowing equipment, augers, or chainsaws.
• Environmental Knowledge:
  Basic identification skills for native and invasive plants.
• Regulatory Knowledge:
  Familiarity with INDOT rules regarding commercial vehicles and trailers.
• OSHA Training:
  Previous training in PPE, hazardous materials, first aid, or material handling.
• Physical Ability:
  Able to lift heavy objects and work in extreme heat or cold while bending, kneeling, or crouching.
• Safety:
  Must be safety‑oriented with a strong attention to detail.
• Age/Legal:
  Candidate must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
