MAJOR DUTIES
The Medicaid Service Coordinator (MSC) will provide individual case management services for individuals who receive services from Arrow Services Indiana. Adhere to all policies, procedures, protocols, and rules set forth by Arrow Services Indiana, implementing Arrow Services Indiana’s mission and vision statement and the core values in all aspects of the position. The MSC is responsible for guiding and facilitating the individual’s access to necessary services designed to address specific client needs.
The MSC promotes the concepts of choice, individualized services and supports, and consumer satisfaction.
- Successfully complete 90-day orientation.
- Participate in annual trainings
- Participate in annual surveys
- Participate in annual assessments for the individuals served.
- Deliver needed information to and from FSSA and Social Security as needed, in person, electronically, and by mail.
- Coordinate information for benefits to ensure no lapse in benefits for individuals.
- Build and maintain relationships with outside stakeholders including but not limited to FSSA and Social Security.
- Community outreach and research opportunities to identify eligible individuals’ enrollments.
- Provide service coordination, which includes information, outreach, linkage, referral, follow-up, monitoring, and advocacy to individuals served by Arrow Services Indiana.
- Ensure benefit information is recorded and filed safely, timely, and accessible to the appropriate individuals and personnel.
- Assist with coordination of services and resources for individuals.
- Complete and keep in compliance all benefits and finances, including case reviews.
- Maintain files and participate in audits as requested by FSSA or Social Security.
- Collaborate with the Benefits Coordinator as needed and Program Directors.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Operations.
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must beable to lift 25+ pounds
- Ability to handle physical aspects of job, including bending, stooping, standing, lifting, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods of time.
- Ability to work as a team and maintain a positive attitude.
- Demonstrate willingness to accept supervision
- A negative TB screening dated prior to the employee providing services for all employees/agents, including administrative and clerical staff.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate adequately to:
- - Complete required forms and reports of visits; and
- - Follow oral or written instructions
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must meet all agency requirements for pre-employment as required by Arrow and/or State regulations.
- Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company
- Available to fulfill a full-time
40+ hours.
Monday-Friday 8a-4p or 9a-5p
