Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Summary:
Partners Personnel is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Forklift Driver to join our client's team in Plainfield, IN. We welcome qualified candidates with relevant experience to apply and become a vital part of a dynamic logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate various forklift types, including Order Picker, Dock Stocker, Reach Truck, and Sit-Down Forklift.
* Participate in training for Turret Forklift operation as required.
* Efficiently conduct packing and picking tasks while adhering to safety protocols and operational standards.
* Perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
* Lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs.
* Consistently enter and exit a freezer environment as part of job responsibilities.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience operating forklifts and handling materials in a warehouse or distribution center.
* Valid forklift certification is a plus, but training may be provided for the right candidate.
* Ability to perform physical labor and work in varying temperatures, including cold storage.
* Strong attention to detail, safety, and efficiency in all tasks.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
