Truck Driver - Flex Class A

Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers

• Average $101,000 annually
• $10,000 retention bonus
• Travel required up to 100%

• This position requires the driver to travel regionally to work at various locations as needed
• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered

• Dispatch times will vary depending on work assignment
• Drivers can expect to be away from home 2 to 3 weeks per assignment
• Drivers will travel to assigned location, and work from there for duration of work assignment

• Late model, Penske maintained trucks

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non‑excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• English language proficiency required to comply with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (past employment, education, criminal history) and drug screening
• Position regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated safety sensitive; requires constant state of alertness and safe behavior. Associates must accept responsibility for own and others’ safety.

• Must meet the physical and mental demands described; reasonable accommodations may be made.
• Must be able to see and hear; requires close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Must move frequently, stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch and handle, reach. Can lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg), occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
• Must legally operate a motor vehicle and frequently enter/exit vehicle and rear cargo area.
