Qualifications- Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non‑exempted interstate DOT medical card required.
- 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years.
- 3 years of DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
- English language proficiency required by federal law.
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening.
- Regulated by the Department of Transportation; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safety is required.
- Must see and hear; specific vision abilities required include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Must move frequently, stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch and handle; regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Must legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit vehicle and rear cargo area.
