Job Title:
Equipment Operator I
Location: Plainfield, IN, USA 46168
Duration: 6 Months
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
Schedule may be subject to change based on business needs.
Position Summary- We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Equipment Operator to support daily warehouse operations.
- This role requires certification and hands‑on experience operating a Cherry Picker, Stand‑Up Forklift, and Sit‑Down Forklift.
- The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and flexing across multiple warehouse functions based on operational demands, workload fluctuations, and coverage needs.
Important: Candidates must clearly demonstrate industrial equipment operating experience on their resume. Resumes that do not reflect relevant equipment experience may not be considered.
Required Qualifications- Certified and experienced in operating:
- Cherry Picker
- Stand‑Up Forklift
- Sit‑Down Forklift
- Previous industrial warehouse equipment experience
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Operating material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Order picking and fulfillment
- Load auditing and verification
- Pallet wrapping and staging
- Cycle counting and inventory accuracy activities
- General warehouse housekeeping and organization
- Supporting various warehouse functions as needed to meet business demands
