The Warehouse Clerk – Rack Picking Coordinator is responsible for directing and supporting rack picking operations by identifying, assigning, and communicating accurate product locations to forklift drivers. This role ensures efficient order fulfillment by managing inventory data, generating pick instructions, and serving as a key point of coordination between the warehouse management system (WMS) and equipment operators.
1st shift - M-F 6:30a-2:30pm with OT available
Starting pay: $$18.50+ DOE
JOB RESPONSIBILITIESInventory updates:
Entering received items into the inventory management system, updating stock levels.
Sorting and labeling:
Sorting items based on product type and labeling them for proper storage.
Stock placement:
Storing received items in designated warehouse locations.
Handling returns:
Processing returned items, verifying reasons for return, and updating inventory accordingly.
Maintaining records:
Keeping accurate records of received shipments, including dates, quantities, and vendor information.
Communication with vendors:
Contacting vendors to resolve discrepancies or address issues with deliveries.
Physical tasks:
Lifting and moving boxes, pallets, or other materials as needed.
Unloading deliveries:
Receiving and unloading incoming shipments from trucks or delivery services.
Verification against documents:
Checking received items against purchase orders and packing slips to ensure accuracy.
Inspection for damage:
Examining goods for any signs of damage or discrepancies and reporting issues to appropriate parties.

Basic math skills:
Calculating quantities and performing inventory checks
Organizational skills:
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, effectively managing inventory
Computer literacy:
Proficiency in inventory management systems and data entry
Physical stamina:
Ability to lift and move heavy items
Communication skills:
Effective communication with vendors and internal departments
Attention to detail:
Accurately verifying quantities and identifying discrepancies
- Requires frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
- Requires lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight.
- Requires work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
