Our client, a distribution warehouse in the Plainfield area, is seeking a Warehouse Dispatch Clerk. As a Dispatch Clerk you will be part of the Distribution Department supporting warehouse and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Plainfield, IN

Pay Range: $20.75

Shift: 2nd shift 2:45pm - 11:15pm

What's the Job?

• Verify inbound and outbound carrier documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Check in/out containers according to established procedures
• Control and monitor inbound/outbound flow of shipments
• Perform container security checks to meet safety and quality standards
• Assist drivers with yard locations and record yard assignments in the management system

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse or distribution environment
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Strong reading and interpretation skills for distribution documents
• Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office Suite
