Warehouse Equipment Operator

Our client, a leading company in the supply chain and distribution industry, is seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Equipment Operator for their Plainfield, IN facility. This role supports daily warehouse operations and requires certified, hands-on experience operating multiple types of industrial equipment. Contract Duration:
Approximately 6 months (1,040 total hours)

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM (subject to change based on business needs)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Cherry Picker, Swing Reach, Stand-Up Forklift, and Sit-Down Forklift equipment
• Complete order picking and fulfillment tasks accurately and efficiently
• Perform load auditing and verification to ensure shipment accuracy
• Wrap and stage pallets for outbound shipping
• Flex across various warehouse functions based on workload and staffing needs
• Adhere to all safety protocols and warehouse procedures

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience operating Cherry Picker, Swing Reach, Stand-Up Forklift, and Sit-Down Forklift
• Prior industrial warehouse equipment experience clearly reflected on resume
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Flexibility to adapt to changing operational demands

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift certification(s)
• Previous experience in a high-volume distribution or fulfillment center
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
