Plainfield Correctional Facility is a medium‑security institutionlocatedin Plainfield, Indiana, with a capacity of more than 1,600 incarcerated adult males. The facility provides mental health and substance use treatment services, along with multiple educational opportunities. Programming focuses on rehabilitation and preparing incarcerated individuals for re‑entry. Staff work to create a supportive environment that encourages accountability and personal improvement. Role Overview:

As a Warehouse Foreman, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the warehouse according to all applicable state policies, procedures, and regulations. You will use judgment in delegating work assignments and choosing appropriate ordering and storage methods. Errors could result in incarcerated individuals and departments lacking the necessary items to maintain proper living and working conditions. You will be assigned the responsibility of maintaining the computerized inventory system (People Soft) and reconciling the orders to the inventory on hand.

You will be responsible for receiving orders from vendors and the delivery of orders throughout the facility. You will also ensure all uniformed staff clothing is ordered and distributed timely and accurately.

The essential functions of this role are as follows:

• Maintain detailed inventory records and exercise inventory control of the items ordered.
• Calculate monthly, quarterly, and yearly inventory reports and ensure accuracy.
• Implement on the job training for new offenders.
• Supervise offender workers with emphasis on safety and security.
• Complete offender evaluations as required.
• Receive general deliveries from common carriers and ensure purchase order and packing slips are accurate.
• Complete receiver information and tag fixed assets in People Soft.
• Prepare purchase orders of facility supplies and maintains supply inventory.
• Maintain key and tools control utilized by warehouse staff or offender workers.
• Complete ACA documentation and tool log.
• Assign offender jobs daily based on current/daily priority.
• Teach Offender Fork Truck training and certification.
• Evaluate and reorganize record-keeping or storage procedures as necessary.
• Assist with uniform distribution as needed.
• During facility emergencies, assist with operations as needed.
• Perform work in accordance with approved health and safety practices.
• Workday attendance at assigned worksite(s) is an essential function of this position.
