The Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the distribution center's direct-to-consumer and wholesale fulfillment functions, ensuring orders are processed accurately, safely, efficiently, and on time. This role serves as a key operational leader, partnering with Distribution Center Management to drive productivity, inventory accuracy, quality standards, and associate engagement.
The DTC Supervisor acts as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operational execution, workforce management, and departmental performance. This position requires a hands-on leader who is highly knowledgeable in all warehouse functions, promotes a culture of safety and continuous improvement, and consistently delivers results against established service and productivity metrics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Warehouse Operations & Order Fulfillment- Lead daily DTC domestic and international fulfillment operations, ensuring service levels, productivity, accuracy, and customer expectations are met
- Oversee staffing, workflow, operational priorities, and processing of DTC, Event, Wholesale, and Inventory Transfer orders
- Manage daily opening/closing procedures, system readiness, security protocols, and operational requirements
- Monitor key performance metrics, identify operational challenges, and implement solutions to improve throughput and service
- Coordinate with Inventory Control, Planning, Customer Service, Transportation, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless order execution
- Lead special projects, peak-volume initiatives, and process improvement efforts
- Oversee inventory control activities, cycle counts, reconciliations, and resolution of inventory discrepancies
- Ensure inventory accuracy, product handling, loss prevention, and shrink reduction standards are maintained
- Collaborate on slotting, replenishment, and warehouse layout strategies to improve efficiency and product flow
- Analyze operational and inventory data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Lead, motivate, coach, and develop associates to promote a high-performing, engaged, and customer-focused team
- Oversee new-hire onboarding, operational training, safety training, and cross-functional development
- Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions; establish and monitor Individual Development Plans
- Address attendance, performance, and policy concerns in accordance with company guidelines
- Promote employee engagement through recognition, communication, and visible leadership on the warehouse floor
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA, company, and departmental policies
- Conduct safety observations, audits, training, and daily safety discussions; identify and address workplace hazards
- Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, operational procedures, 5S, housekeeping, and audit-readiness requirements
- Monitor operational metrics and reporting to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness
- Support Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve processes
- Develop and implement SOPs, best practices, and process improvements to promote operational consistency and customer satisfaction
