What You’ll Do
  • Oversee day-to-day site operations to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant working environment.
  • Manage building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, and access control.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections with internal teams and external contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, environmental regulations).
  • Maintain accurate asset tracking and equipment lifecycle management.
  • Oversee warehouse organization, materials handling, and storage optimization.
  • Select, negotiate, and supervise third-party vendors for maintenance, cleaning, safety, and operational services.
  • Monitor vendor performance, contracts, and service level agreements.
What You Will Bring
  • Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1 + years of experience in site operations, facility management, logistics, or a similar role.
  • Understanding of building systems, workplace safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing vendors, budgets, and facility projects.
  • Ability to troubleshoot operational issues
  • Experience in biotech, manufacturing, or laboratory environments
  • Relevant experience dealing with contractors on building and/or equipment repairs
  • Bilingual preferred:
    Strong communication skills in Spanish or Chinese
