What Can You Do?
Creative interactive lessons and activities following the themes and curriculum for each month. (Creative Curriculum)
Using a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, sing-a-longs, dance etc.)
Observe each child and help them build self-esteem improving their social competencies.
Encourage children to interact with each other and create friendships
Ensure safety during naps and mealtime
Keep track of progress and report to parents
Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Be ready and willing to Have Fun!
If you said YES to all the above, here are some bonus skills you should have!
Experience supervising and/or educating
Understanding of child development and educational methods
Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines
Excellent communication and instructional skills
Ability to act as mediator between children
Bilingual (Spanish & English) is Great!
Cool-tempered, friendly, caring, reliable
A constant willingness to have fun and enjoy teaching!
