We’re looking for a caring and energetic Pre‑K Teacher Assistant to support classroom instruction, foster positive child development, and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment. If you love working with young children and are committed to their success, we want to hear from you!
As a Teacher Assistant, you’ll support the lead teacher in implementing curriculum, supervising children, and fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. This full‑time position assists with assessments, parent engagement, and school readiness activities to help children thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in daily classroom activities and child supervision
- Support curriculum implementation aligned with NAEYC and Head Start standards
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment
- Conduct developmental screenings and maintain child progress records
- Engage with parents to support family and community involvement
- Participate in professional development and team collaboration
- Preschool Child Development Associate (CDA) or equivalent certification in a related field
- Experience in a preschool setting or working with young children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills for record‑keeping and communication
- A collaborative mindset with a commitment to the mission of supporting children, families and communities

Successful completion of a post‑offer, pre‑employment physical examination, TB screen, and background screen inclusive of CHRI and CARI check is required.
