We are looking for a compassionate and highly effective Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs from PreK–12. In this role, you will design and deliver individualized instruction, develop IEPs aligned to student goals, and collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families. You will help create a learning environment that is structured, supportive, and inclusive—one where every student has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Providing differentiated instruction based on student needs
• Supporting students in both inclusive and self-contained settings
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, case managers, and support staff
• Using data to track progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Maintaining strong communication and documentation
• Creating a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment

• Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field (Master's preferred)
• Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate with Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) endorsement, or eligibility
• 3–5 years of experience working with students with disabilities preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, accommodations, and modifications
• Experience with inclusive, resource, and self-contained classroom models
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and digital learning tools
• Successful completion of required criminal history background check
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal residency
