Focused Staffing Group is seeking mission-driven ESL Teachers who are passionate about helping English Language Learners excel academically and build confidence in their communication skills. This is an impactful role supporting students across grade levels for the 2025–2026 school year.

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable ESL Teacher to support English language learners from PreK–12. In this position, you will design engaging lessons that strengthen reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills while ensuring students can access grade-level content. You will collaborate closely with general education teachers, families, and support staff to create effective learning strategies and a welcoming, inclusive environment where every learner can thrive.

• Planning and delivering high-quality ESL instruction aligned with student needs
• Supporting students individually, in small groups, and in whole-class settings
• Developing strategies to support academic language growth and content access
• Collaborating with classroom teachers and families to support student progress
• Using assessments and data to guide instruction and monitor growth
• Maintaining accurate documentation and student records
• Fostering a classroom environment that is positive, respectful, and culturally responsive

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate or ESL Endorsement, or eligibility
• 3–5 years of ESL teaching experience preferred
• Strong understanding of second language acquisition and sheltered instruction
• Experience with differentiated instruction and data-driven teaching
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and support teams
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and digital learning tools
• Successful completion of required criminal history background check
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
