SCHOOL SECURITY (SY 26-27, 10 months)

The mission of the Barack Obama Green Charter Schools is to prepare students to become resilient, productive and independent critical thinkers. Our goal is to inspire leaders to be innovative and life-long learners with a focus on global citizenship. Students will be educated in a school community that models high expectations for both scholarship and integrity. The Barack Obama Green Charter Schools will facilitate clear connections between the curriculum, the community and the world.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of a High School Diploma/College Degree, preferred.

Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.

Valid Security Officer Registration Act (SORA) License, preferred.

AED / CPR Certified preferred.

One year or more of progressively responsible experience in a security–related field.

Demonstrates excellent integrity and good moral character and initiative.

Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary.

Exhibits a personality that demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents and the community.

Must have excellent organizational skills.
