- Oversee day-to-day site operations to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant working environment.
- Manage building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, and access control.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections with internal teams and external contractors.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, environmental regulations).
- Maintain accurate asset tracking and equipment lifecycle management.
- Oversee warehouse organization, materials handling, and storage optimization.
- Select, negotiate, and supervise third-party vendors for maintenance, cleaning, safety, and operational services.
- Monitor vendor performance, contracts, and service level agreements.
- Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1 + years of experience in site operations, facility management, logistics, or a similar role.
- Understanding of building systems, workplace safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience managing vendors, budgets, and facility projects.
- Ability to troubleshoot operational issues
- Experience in biotech, manufacturing, or laboratory environments
- Relevant experience dealing with contractors on building and/or equipment repairs
- Bilingual preferred:
Strong communication skills in Spanish or Chinese
