North Plainfield Borough is seeking a qualified Municipal Code Enforcement Officer to perform inspections and enforce ordinances related to zoning, housing, property maintenance, and public safety. Duties include field inspections, handling complaints, issuing notices, and appearing in Municipal Court.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid NJ driver’s license, and strong communication skills;
Spanish is a plus. Outdoor work in all weather with occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
