Registered Nurse-Emergency Department - Evenings

Position Highlights

Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 per hour, based on expertise and years of experience.

Position: RN – Emergency Department, Plainfield.

Hours:

Evening shift 3:00 pm – 3:00 am, every third weekend and rotating holidays. Full‑time, 36 hours per week.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or associate degree with completion of a Bachelor within five years).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure of the State of Illinois.
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within three months of start.
• Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within three months of start.
• Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) within three months of start.

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and procedures.
• Use critical thinking skills to assess patient conditions, recognize changes, and plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient progress and record observations.
• Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
• Act as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
