Security Officer - First Shift

As a Security Officer Patrol Customer Service in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.

* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office, warehouse, and/or perimeter areas at a technology-focused location to help identify unusual activity and policy violations.

* Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or delivery traffic, helping to support authorized entry procedures and a professional environment for employees and guests.

* Communicate with site contacts, coworkers, and/or first responders during incidents or routine operations to help address security-related concerns and maintain continuity of operations.

Minimum Requirements:

* Access control and badge experience is preferred.

* The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

* CPR certification is preferred.

* Customer service experience is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
