Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections

We are seeking a hands-on accounting professional to join a growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will take ownership of the company’s daily financial operations

• Own the full cycle of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  , including invoice processing, payment application, reconciliations, and record maintenance.
• Act as the primary liaison with vendors and customers, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution of discrepancies.
• Lead the onboarding of new vendors and clients, setting up accounts and verifying documentation to maintain smooth operations.
• Drive the month-end close process
  , posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and preparing supporting schedules.
• Monitor account activity and highlight irregularities or opportunities for improvement to management.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure financial data aligns with operational activity.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls as the organization grows.

• 4+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing setting
• Proven ability to manage AR and AP from start to finish
  , with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
• Strong understanding of GAAP, account reconciliations, and internal control procedures
• Comfortable with accounting software; ERP system experience is highly desirable
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed, with the ability to handle multiple priorities
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
