The Mobile Service Technician is a field‑based role that travels to client locations to diagnose, maintain, and repair Lucid vehicles. A service van or truck and tools are provided. This fixed operation position works independently and with a nearby service location, balancing field work with team support.
Responsibilities- Function as a Service Advisor and perform parts duties including ordering, returns, and inventory management
- Interact directly with clients to deliver a high level of customer experience
- Document all customer vehicle interactions using the appropriate software
- Maintain high knowledge of High Voltage (HV), Low Voltage (LV), and general EV systems
- Conduct walk‑around and write‑up processes to accurately identify primary concerns through interviews and assessment
- Document client concerns for diagnosis and repair
- Follow proper repair order documentation procedures
- Invoice and collect payment
- Provide customer service tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and updating customers on repair status
- Review appointment schedules to plan travel time and visit duration for mobile services
- Provide support at Service Center as needed
- Travel within the assigned territory and other service locations
- Other duties as assigned
- 2–5 years of experience as an automotive service technician
- Self-sufficient, highly organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge of High Voltage, Low Voltage, and Electric Vehicle powertrains
- Customer-facing experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn proprietary DMS software
- EPA 609 Certification
- ASE Certifications
- Willingness to complete Lucid‑provided CPR training post‑hire
- Valid driver license with no suspensions in the past year
- Experience with EV diagnosis and repair
- Experience in luxury automobile repair environments
The compensation range for this position is location‑specific and reflects factors including knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, and other relevant business factors.
