- Mechanical design and development with 3+ years of experience in Semiconductor/High-tech/ Special purpose machine industry.
- Design experience using Solidworks, AutoCAD ProE or similar 3D CAD system is required.
- Experience designing Capital Equipment for Semiconductor Industry is preferred (vacuum vessels, wafer handling, motion mechanisms, etc).
- Knowledge of ion beam and/or vacuum physics is preferred.
- Knowledge in Machined components.
- Sheet metal parts design and Detailing.
- Design of weldments and fabrication knowledge
- Knowledge of drafting standards, ASME Y 14.5 GD&T standard.
- Experience in SAP or similar PLM system.
- Knowledge of Engineering change notifications and implementing changes ECR/ECO/ECN.
- Structural and thermal finite element analysis experience (Solidworks Simulation, ANSYS, etc) is preferred
- Understanding of manufacturing process and tolerance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Education requirements:
Mechanical Engineering curriculum with applicable industry experience, BE/B Tech/BS - Experience with Solid Works, Inventor, ProE or similar 3D CAD system is required.
- Experience with SAP, or similar PLM system, is preferred
