We are seeking a motivated and dependable Insurance Verification Specialist to join our medical office team. This role is ideal for someone looking to start or grow a career in healthcare administration. Training will be provided.
Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 / hour
Qualifications- Data entry and computer skills with documentation accuracy
- Insurance verification and eligibility (preferred)
- Understanding of health insurance benefits (a plus)
- Medical records or administrative paperwork
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook
- Credentialing and contracting processes
- Patient invoicing and billing support
- Daily Day Sheet tally and reconciliation
- Use of medical billing and laboratory systems
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Positive, professional attitude with patients and staff
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
