Insurance Verification Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Insurance Verification Specialist to join our medical office team. This role is ideal for someone looking to start or grow a career in healthcare administration. Training will be provided.

• Data entry and computer skills with documentation accuracy
• Insurance verification and eligibility (preferred)
• Understanding of health insurance benefits (a plus)
• Medical records or administrative paperwork
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook

• Credentialing and contracting processes
• Patient invoicing and billing support
• Daily Day Sheet tally and reconciliation
• Use of medical billing and laboratory systems

• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Positive, professional attitude with patients and staff
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
