** Key Highlights
*** Coverage includes rotation between the Plainview and Riverhead branches

* Hours:

9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
* Work Arrangement:
On-site; approximately 80% office and 20% field
* Driving Territory:
Up to 1.5 hours from the branch
** Salary Range*** $52.00 – $60.00 per hour. Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, education, and applicable credentials.
** On-Call Transparency
*** Rotating on-call schedule shared among all Respiratory Therapists
* Week-long coverage rotation
** What You'll Do
*** Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow ups
* Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance
* Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately
* Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs
* Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams
* Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop
* Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilation
* Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating condition
* Perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry and gathering vital signs
* Performs other duties as required
** What We Look For
*** Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active NY RT license.
* Open to candidates with varying experience levels; 2+ years preferred
* Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 – 50 lbs.
* Valid driver's license
* Comfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation
** Education
* ** Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
** Certificates, licenses, registrations or professional designations
*** Hold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapy
* Hold a current CPR Certification
* Hold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practice
