Therapy My Way is seeking a compassionate and motivated Postdoctoral Psychology Fellow / Pre-Licensed Psychologist to join our growing private practice in Plainview, New York.

This position is an excellent opportunity for a doctoral-level clinician who has completed a Ph.D. or Psy.

D. in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology and is working toward independent licensure as a psychologist in New York State.

• Provide individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults
• Conduct initial clinical assessments and develop treatment plans
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with supervisors and other members of our multidisciplinary clinical team
• Participate in clinical supervision and staff meetings
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and other providers as appropriate
• Maintain ethical and professional standards consistent with practice and licensing requirements

• Ph.D. or Psy.
  
  D. in Psychology from an accredited doctoral program
• Completion of doctoral internship requirements
• Eligible to accrue supervised postdoctoral experience toward New York State psychologist licensure
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
• Professional, dependable, and able to work independently while utilizing supervision appropriately
• Experience working with children, adolescents, families, or adults is preferred
• Interest in developing a caseload within a supportive private-practice setting

• Supervised clinical experience toward psychologist licensure
• Regular supervision with a licensed psychologist
