Description Act as a central point of communication among providers, patients and other team members of our health facility. Perform secretarial and front desk duties with superior communication skills utilizing specific knowledge of medical terminology, office software programs and all office policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Greet patients, schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and provide excellent customer service.
- Oversee insurance eligibility and participation, billing processes, and collection of co-pays.
- Ensure accurate data entry into electronic health record systems, including patient demographics and insurance information.
- Manage appointment scheduling to optimize patient flow and minimize wait times.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, patient confidentiality laws (such as HIPAA) and office policies.
- Train new front desk staff and provide ongoing support and guidance to improve performance.
- Monitor office supplies, forms, and equipment as needed.
- Coordinate communication between front desk staff, medical personnel, and other departments within the healthcare facility.
- Assist with front office staff duties as needed.
- Perform all other duties assigned.
- Salary Range:$28-$32.50 per hour

Position Requirements Qualifications- High School Diploma.
- Superior level of secretarial and organizational skills.
- Team player and the ability to multi-task.
- Possess exceptional interpersonal skills and proper communication skills demonstrating compassion and patience.
- 2 years medical secretarial experience is required.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time and must have manual dexterity to work on the computer systems and keyboard.
