Sourcing Specialist 供应商开发专员

We are a US-based pet products company headquartered in New York, specializing in outdoor and travel pet accessories — collars, harnesses, leashes, travel bags, and more. As we scale our product lines, we are building our direct sourcing capability in China and hiring a Sourcing Specialist based in Guangdong to develop and manage our supplier network.

• Identify, evaluate, and develop finished-goods suppliers for pet accessories (collars, harnesses, leashes, travel bags, silicone products, toys, etc.) in Guangdong and surrounding regions
• Conduct factory audits and assessments — production capability, quality systems, certifications, and compliance
• Manage the full sourcing cycle: inquiries, quotations, price negotiation, sample evaluation, and supplier selection
• Follow orders end-to-end — production progress, inline and final inspections, and shipment coordination — taking ownership until every issue is closed
• Maintain supplier database, quotation records, and sourcing reports in English for the US team
• 3+ years of sourcing/procurement experience in export-oriented consumer goods; pet products, bags, textiles, or soft goods strongly preferred
• Hands‑on experience with factory audits and finished‑goods quality standards; able to independently assess a supplier
• Strong follow‑through and ownership — you close the loop on every task without being chased
• Based in Guangdong with flexibility for frequent factory visits; proficient in Excel
