OverviewThe Senior Manager, Procurement leads strategic procurement operations across multiple sites or a major business unit, driving enterprise-level sourcing strategies, supplier performance, and long-range cost optimization. This role oversees a team of procurement professionals, ensures alignment with corporate objectives, strengthens supplier relationships, and advances procurement maturity across the organization. The Senior Manager, Procurement establishes strategic direction, anticipates business needs, and ensures the organization has resilient, compliant, and high-performing supply solutions.
Responsibilities- Lead enterprise procurement strategy development to ensure alignment with organizational goals, long-term affordability targets, and supply resilience
- Optimize the supplier base by identifying strategic partners, driving multi-year agreements, and advancing supplier performance and capability
- Oversee complex sourcing initiatives across programs or business units, ensuring compliance, competitive advantage, and total cost improvements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to mature procurement processes, enhance proposal/sourcing activities, and elevate cross-functional collaboration
- Establish and monitor procurement performance metrics to ensure operational excellence, cost effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials and services
- Develop and execute risk-management strategies to mitigate supply disruptions, quality issues, and commercial exposure
- Provide senior-level leadership to the procurement team, ensuring effective staffing, development, coaching, and performance management to maximize team impact
- Serve as the primary procurement interface to senior leadership, communicating supply-base risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations
- Minimum six (6) years of experience in people management
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Subcontract Management, managing the performance of a broad supply base business
- Bachelor's Degree
- Applicable experience in lieu of a Degree may be considered
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, you must be able to obtain a U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
- Pay Range: $143,827 - $183,220 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
- This position is eligible for a 15% target discretionary annual incentive plan bonus.
