Machine Operator

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Machine Operator to join our metal fabrication team. This role is responsible for operating fabrication equipment to produce high-quality metal parts according to specifications, production schedules, and safety standards. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience in a shop environment and takes pride in precision and consistency.

Salary: $18 - $22 per hour

Work hours:

8 AM - 4 PM

Education:

High School

• Set up and operate metal fabrication machinery such as press brakes, shears, saws, punches, lasers, or CNC equipment (depending on experience)
• Load raw materials and unload finished parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, and work instructions
• Perform in-process and final inspections using measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Adjust machine settings to maintain part quality and tolerances
• Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions or maintenance needs
• Maintain production records and meet output goals
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and PPE policies
• Keep work area clean and organized (5S standards)
